During his studies at the College of Finance and Accountancy in Budapest he worked for Arthur Andersen's audit department. Upon receiving his diploma in 1994 he joined CA IB, the investment banking arm of Austrian Creditanstalt, which later become member of the HVB Group. At CA IB he was involved in most of the major privatisation transactions in Hungary including the pharmaceutical, banking, oil- and gas, and telecom sectors as well as most of the major capital market transactions.
In 2000 he moved to the London office of CA IB where he was involved in various capital markets transactions and CEE regional M&A transactions primarily in the Energy sector. He established an independent corporate finance advisory company in 2003 and joined Raiffeisen Investment in 2006 to head their Hungarian corporate finance activities. Zsolt has extensive experience in privatisation, both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, capital market transactions and public take-overs.
