2006 - Buy-side Advisor to Vienna International Airport
Raiffeisen Investment acted as financial advisor to the consortium, led by Flughafen Wien, bidding for the acquisition of Bratislava and Kosice airport. After successfully being announced as preferred bidder after two rounds of bidding, the privatisation of Bratislava aiport was stopped. The acquisition of Kosice airport was successfully closed.
2006 - Buy-side Advisor to Rail Cargo
Raiffeisen Investment acted as financial advisor to Rail Cargo Austria in the proposed privatisation of ZSSK Cargo, the rail cargo operator. Rail Cargo Austria was announced as preferred bidder in 2006, only for the privatisation to be postponed due to a change in the government in Slovakia.
