Raiffeisen Investment’s Financial Sponsors team and Raiffeisen Bank International’s Leverage Finance team (Acquisition, Project & Structured Finance I+II) provide „one-stop-shop“solutions to financial sponsors covering major private equity funds, hedge funds and regional investment groups. Through our broad network we are able to identify opportunities and to attract the right form of funding.

The teams focus on transactions throughout the whole lifecycle of private equity investments:

  • Leverage buy-out transactions including MBO, MBI type deals
  • Expansion finance transactions
  • Add-on acquisitions to existing investments
  • Sell-side transactions of existing portfolio companies
  • Special advisory services to corporates seeking private equity as part of their capital structure

Our institution has recently led a number of landmark transactions, including the bookrunner position on the CRA financing for Macquarie, the advisory and financing to BC Partners on the acquisition of FutureLab and Synlab, advisory on the sale of a minority stake in MedLife to Amundi Capital - only to mention a few examples.
