The stake is being sold by Raiffeisenlandesbank Burgenland. “The transaction brings together a strong local mineral water brand with an extremely successful and powerful international brand-name beverage company with Austrian roots. This lays a good foundation for the continued expansion of Waldquelle,” says executive board member Heinz Sernetz. The deal, he adds, underlines Raiffeisen Investment’s competence in cross-border M&A in the consumer goods sector.
