Salamander Austria GmbH currently runs 34 shops in the Austrian market and has been active there since 1969. Vienna is not only the headquarters for Austria but also for CEE countries of the EU.
DELKA, founded in 1907 in Vienna and known for being a specialist for wellness and comfort shoes, will be integrated into Schuhquadrat GmbH & Co KG, a 100% subsidiary of Salamander Austria GmbH.
On February 15th, transaction documents governing the sale of the distribution line „Delka“ were signed by the parties. The closing of the transaction is still subject to several conditions but is expected to be effectuated within the first quarter of this year.
