Raiffeisen Investment advised SSL International Plc on the acquisition of a 15.5% stake in Beleggingsmaatschappij Lemore BV(BLBV), distributor of condoms and medical disposables in Eastern Europe and CIS, for a consideration of for GBP24.8 million.
SSL has been granted call options to acquire the remainder of BLBV, exercisable over the next two years at 9.0x EBITDA. The remaining two stages are expected to take place before 31 May 2010.
In 2010, SSL increased its stake from 50% stake plus one share to 75% in BLBV.
