The renowned Financial Times magazine The Banker has awarded Raiffeisen Investment with a "Deal of the Year" 2008 award for Bulgaria.
The transaction for which this prestigious prize was awarded is the  acquisition of Bulgarian Telecom by AIG.
The jury explained it’s choice: "This is the largest deal ever undertaken in Bulgaria, and also the largest private equity buyout in the CEE region last year".
