Yamaha acquired 100% of the shares in Boesendorfer from BAWAG P.S.K. in January 2008.
Both parties are convinced that a combination of the strengths of Boesendorfer and Yamaha will bring benefits for the company and its employees, particularly on the basis of an agreed guarantee to maintain the seat, headquarters and the production of the company in Austria. Yamaha intends to support the financial development of Boesendorfer and maintain the cultural heritage of the company.
