On November 23rd, RIAG’ Financial Sponsors team organised a half-day Private Equity event focused on Central Europe in Vienna. The event was targeted at leading European and regional Private Equity Funds as well as corporations active in the region of Central Europe. From the Raiffeisen Group, senior bankers from RZB, RCB and Raiffeisen Investment attended the event.

Investment funds advised by BC Partners ("BC Partners") have entered into a shareholders' agreement to acquire a 40 percent stake in Synlab, a medical laboratory company based in Augsburg, Germany, and to take over FutureLAB which is based in Vienna, Austria. Both companies offer analysis, consulting and other services for human and veterinary medicine as well as for environmental applications in a large number of countries. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transactions are subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.
